PUBLIC NOTICE
RELATIVE TO SNOW REMOVAL
Take Notice: Pursuant to Section 58-113(2) of the Mt. Morris City Code, the Mt. Morris City Council did designate the following streets:
Saginaw Street from city limit to city limit.
Mt. Morris Street from city limit to city limit.
Walter Street from Mt. Morris Street to city limit.
Roosevelt Street from Saginaw Street to city limit.
The above-mentioned streets detail which adjacent property owners are required to remove, within 24 hours after the end of a snowfall, accumulation of snow and ice upon sidewalks adjacent to their property if the accumulation exceeds three inches or if icy conditions exist.
Take Further Notice: That upon failure to do so the city may remove the snow and charge the cost thereof to the property owner, and upon failure to pay the same, the charge may be imposed as a lien upon the property.
This notice has been published by authority of Resolution No.23-33, adopted by the
Mt. Morris City Council on October 23rd, 2023.

CITY OF MT. MORRIS
TO ANY OWNERS OF LAND SITUATED IN THE CITY OF MT. MORRIS, GENESEE COUNTY, STATE OF MICHIGAN.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN to property owners that all noxious weeds grown and all tall or dead grass and brush on any land within the City along public streets or roads or improved streets for a depth of 300 feet or the depth of the subdivided lot, whichever is lesser, must be cut down and removed on or before the first day of May, June, July, August, September, and October to prevent weeds from going to seed or to blossom, as the case may be, and to prevent tall or dead grass and brush from becoming a fire hazard. No person shall allow any weeds or grass to exceed 9 inches in height.
Failure to comply with this notice on or before the above-mentioned dates shall make any party liable for the cost of cutting noxious weeds and tall or dead grass and brush within the City of Mt. Morris, and the cost shall be levied and collected against said lands in the same manner as other taxes are levied and collected pursuant to applicable law.
THIS NOTICE IS PUBLISHED PURSUANT TO THE PROVISIONS OF THE CITY OF MT. MORRIS ORDINANCE 13-03.
