The Mt. Morris City Council serves as the City’s legislative body, responsible for adopting ordinances and resolutions, approving the annual budget, and setting policies that guide municipal operations. The Council also provides oversight of City administration, approves contracts and expenditures, and works to promote the health, safety, and general welfare of the community.
The City Council meetings are held on the second (2nd) and forth (4th) Monday of each month at 7:00PM. Meetings are held in the City Council Chambers located at 11649 N Saginaw St downtown Mt. Morris. Please refer to our calendar for the latest updates and meeting times. There are two opportunities for public comment during each meeting.
