Building

The Building Department generates and authorizes a wide range of permits and provides residents with information regarding applicable fees and procedures. The department prepares and issues rental dwelling permits, as well as invoices for weeds, snow removal, and other miscellaneous matters. Staff generate and maintain various reports, monitor outstanding accounts, and provide necessary documentation to the City Manager and City Council. The department also enters code enforcement complaints into the system as needed.
